We have had the wonderful opportunity of working with pregnant women, new parents and their families throughout our nursing careers.  During this time, we have seen a common need among expectant and new parents - a desire to be a critical part of their care and decision making. However, parents can easily become overwhelmed with the seemingly endless sources of information during pregnancy and early parenting.  This often leads to a struggle to know what is the “right” answer.

After too many conversations that ended with, “I wish I had a way to let families know...” The childbirth education and lactation consultation business, Birth Avenue, was born.  We want to provide current information, based in research, to help you make the best decisions for you and your family.
